Where is the best place to sit in Marlins Park? ›

The best seats for a Miami Marlins game are located in the Diamond Club seats located behind home plate or the Clubhouse Box seats along the first and third baselines. If these seats are out of your price range don't worry, as cheap tickets in the upper levels can be had for every Marlins game.

Digital cameras are permitted inside the ballpark. Per MLB restrictions, Guests are not permitted to transmit and/or stream, or aid in transmitting and/or streaming, any account, description, picture, video, audio, reproduction or other information about Marlins games or events.

The First and Third Base Dugout Clubs are private hospitality spaces at loanDepot park. Specific to the side of the ballpark where a guest's seats are located, both Dugout Clubs are accessible to fans with tickets in the following seating areas: Clubhouse Box, Dugout Club, Base Reserve A, Baseline Reserve A.

Security Screening

The Marlins ballpark has 37,442 seats, a natural grass playing field and a retractable roof. To remove heat from the ballpark, chilled water is piped to fifty air handling units which service the entire Miami Marlins facility.

While it's not ideal, it's certainly unique among modern day ballparks, all of which are located downtown or in suburbia. Located 2 miles west of downtown Miami in Little Havana, Marlins Park sits on the former site of the Orange Bowl.

Official rules

MLB rule 3.17 specifies that "no one except players, substitutes, managers, coaches, athletic trainers and batboys shall occupy a bench during a game." The rule also stipulates that players on the disabled list are allowed in the dugout, but may not enter the field of play at any time during the game.

If you want to sit in the outfield, right field is a superior choice. When the roof is open for a Marlins game, the 1st base line is the “shade side” of of the park, while seats on the 3rd base line and left field are exposed to the sun.

Parking/getting into the ballpark

Gates to the ballpark generally open 90 minutes prior to first pitch. If parking on site, the four garages at loanDepot park will once again use free flow parking. Fans can prepay for their parking before heading to the ballpark or can pay once they arrive using the PayByPhone app.

The standing room only section will be in the foul territory corner of right field, taking the place of the former 10 rows of Sections 1-3. The section will hold more than 200 fans and provide five-tiered drink rails.
