JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the data network environment supporting Data Centers, remote site locations, wide area network connectivity, Internet, and cloud connectivity for Entergy. The role manages a staff of network engineers that design network solutions, execute network and other IT projects, as well as supporting the daily operational functions including incident response, BAU changes and vulnerability remediation. The Mgr., IT Network works closely with peer IT, IS and business functional areas.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant technical experience (equivalent work experience)

  • Advanced degree is a plus

  • Advanced Network certifications are a plus
